This course is specifically designed for individuals that are new to computers, or want to gain confidence in using a computer.

 

The course covers topics such as using the keyboard and mouse, using Microsoft ​Word for typing documents, setting up an email account to send and receive emails.

We also cover understanding and using the internet to book flights, holidays, event tickets and online banking.

 

The course is delivered on a step-by-step basis and individual attention is guaranteed (a maximum of 8 students per class).

Computers – Beginners

​Find out how to email and send photos/videos/files.

 

Use free programmes to clean/protect your system and for work/pleasure.

 

Learn how to bank online ,pay bills and book holidays ,

 

Get more out of your keyboard and basic mouse skills required

Computers – Practical Computing for the Older Adult

This is a basic introductory course covering the following:

 

E-mail & internet

Facebook & Other social networking sites

Music files & MP3 players, digital cameras

mobile phones

Skype & other free internet phone call methods,

 

On-line banking, booking flights.

 

All computer students are bound to the CDETB computer and network users policy which is available at registration.
